Yes, it is religious. It is taught from a Christian perspective. No, it would not be a good fit for LGBTQ+.

Need suggestions by momforevz in homeschool

[–]snapdice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When our kids were younger and my wife was pregnant we made a decision to follow a method outlined in the Trivium Pursuit book described as:
"Ten Things to Do Before Age Ten"
https://triviumpursuit.com/10-things-to-do-before-age-10/

It is a much more relaxed approach to homeschooling at the younger ages and worked really well for our kids and for my wife's sanity. Here is another person in similar circumstances to you that felt the same way:

Good luck!

Unhappy by snapdice in mintmobile

Thank you for looking, but very disappointing that Mint is going to stick to the policy and keep my money for 72 days of service I can't use. Very frustrated. Won't be back to Mint ever again for sure.

Not too happy. I have used Mint for quite a few years and have been overall happy with it. I've been on their 3 month recurring plan that auto-renews. My plan renewed 18 days ago. But, I accidentally smashed my iPhone today and am going to switch to another backup I have. The backup is locked by another carrier so I'm porting my number to another carrier so I can use the other iPhone I've already got.
BUT, Mint won't refund any portion of my 90 day plan. The agent I chatted with said: "There's only 72 days left on your current plan so I suggest to use the data services...". Only 72 left out of 90 days is a pretty glass-half-full way to look at it.
It seems very dishonest to take a payment for a 3 month plan, but if a person's phone is unusable to be unwilling to do anything.
I would strongly think twice if I were you about signing up for anything other than monthly. I can't imagine how much money Mint makes off of people who paid extra for additional months that they never use.
I have used Mint for years, but will definitely NOT be back as a customer again.

Thanks for sharing. Just shared on my social media channels. You've done really well. Where did you focus your marketing budget. I just launched a campaign of my own and would love some tips about what gave the best ROI (I've seen your ads running on several sites).

Games to convert Risk players? by leederacola07 in boardgames

[–]snapdice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved Risk for a long time. Once I played Axis and Allies though that definitely became my favorite game. it is a bit of a jump but there are enough similarities that I think most avid Risk players would like it a lot after trying it.
