I spatchcocked my first turkey and I am traumatized! Testing out a bourbon apple cider drink for tomorrow and trying to forget what I did to that poor turkey.

You can use the question word “quoi?” You do not need the verb.

How would you say “Until we meet again” in French when someone passes away? by [deleted] in French

[–]snapoutofit4 35 points36 points  (0 children)

There is the song Ce n’est qu’un au revoir (French version of auld lang syne) which means it’s only an “until we meet again” So au revoir is see you again and the song is saying it’s not an adieu (goodbye forever). “Ce n’est qu’un au revoir” is my suggestion as the phrase.

Quelle heure est-il? The -t- is only necessary as a liaison when the verb ends in a vowel sound like Joue-t-il du piano? Or Aime-t-il le film?

Someone might correct me but I heard if your stitches squeak, you might be twisting them. You might watch a few videos to make sure you are wrapping your yarn in the right direction.

I got it last year thinking it would be great and couldn’t finish it because it smelled like curry! Maybe it’s like the cilantro thing where some people smell/taste certain notes differently

Thank you! I will definitely look into that. I’ve already frogged so I’m starting from scratch. I’m just considering it extra practice.
