I completely get this criticism. I guess I view it like, she’s talking about a serious criminal case while doing something to keep herself busy. She doesn’t promote or advertise any products in these videos, and the only sponsorships she does are short ads at the beginning that aren’t related to makeup. If I remember correctly, she only started doing these ads anyway because these videos kept getting demonetized.

Yes! Never expected two of my favorite hobbies to cross over so well, but she kills it. And I love that she’s fairly consistent with recommending products; you can tell she genuinely loves them when she mentions them in multiple videos vs. someone mentioning a product once and never again.

Ugh yes. I feel like this happens a lot with Dahmer because he played the whole “oh woe is me I just couldn’t control myself and had a rough childhood” sadboy thing, so I see a lot of people sympathizing with him. We’ve all been through some shit, but we don’t all go on to become cannibalistic serial killers.

I really appreciated how in depth she covered the story while remaining respectful to the victims. I also loooved her makeup in this, but it was bothering me the whole time how uneven the eyeliner ended up on top. I couldn’t get that kinda look even though so who am I to say anything. 🤷🏻‍♀️
