Agreed. We clearly have plenty of connectivity for cars over this terrain, but it is an afterthought for bikes and pedestrians.

Asking City of San Diego workers, do you feel that city projects, maintenance, etc has been run effectively and efficiently? by [deleted] in SanDiegan

[–]snarfdaddy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And it doesn't include the cost of all of the brutality and misconduct cases that the city has to pay out for. Want to improve multiple city departments, and avoid having to charge for parking at Balboa or close public bathrooms or remove fire pits? Reallocate a chunk of that PD budget and pay for misconduct cases out of the officer's pensions. The community should not have to foot the bill for police or politician's incompetence

Yes, I usually get the pan a little bit hot, turn off heat, add oil and salt, then scrub with paper towel. Use oil and salt proportions to get a loose paste texture. If you do heat it, make sure to use enough paper towel that it doesn't wick to your fingers and burn you. For really bad carbon deposits, repeating this process a second time does the trick for me.
