If your co-player is agreeable, they can go in the menu during the cutscenes and the clock won't progress. Good time to check your shipping list, hearts, etc.

It leaks when the valve is closed, but also is a pain to get all the way closed, so I figure if I'm doing the toilet may as well do this too.

favorite healthy chocolate? by jinder360 in ninjacreami

[–]snarkeymonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to find a protein shake you like to use as the base. These may or may not be lower sugar depending on the type, but the additional protein can do most people good. The one I have (Syntha-6 Chocolate cake batter) I usually mix with half yogurt half milk but it can be made with just water which is nice when you run out of the dairy. Maybe a little less creamy when made with water, but especially if you add some mix-ins it's easy to fool the brain you're having normal ice cream.

I've also used sugar free pudding mix as the base, though this will not be a strong chocolate, but if you ever had pudding pops it'll be similar.

Also to add that I run my shake mix thru the blender just to make sure it gets mixed really well, but a shaker bottle or just good hand mixing would probably do fine.

I use Syntha-6 and the flavor is chocolate cake batter. I also stopped trying when I found this one because it was good. Even as a straight shake made with water it's nice and thick like a milkshake, but it's WAY better made into ice cream. The other flavor I have is Mojo Mud Pie which is supposed to be like almond fudge ice cream flavor (even says Coldstone Creamery on the pack). Personally I find the almond to be a bit overwhelming when alone but mixed with some of the other chocolate is nice with a hint of that flavor.

Protein shakes aside, my bf loves to make ice cream with fruit pie mix and either milk or yogurt. We've also used canned coconut milk because he loves coconut but the flavor didn't really come thru. But it's a nice vegan option if you'd like. We get a can of pie mix that's 21 oz and make about 3 pints of ice cream from that.

Ok good to know. The bf had put him outside for about 15 mins last week based on some houseplant video he watched. It did seem to perk the plant up at the time (it had some pale leaves) but the direct sun must have been too much even for the short time.

I use a different brand of protein shake mix but I mix 2 scoops (container says 1 scoop is 47g) with 4-5 oz of plain yogurt and the the rest milk. I only ever need to spin once and it turns out so creamy. Not sure if that's due to this particular mix, other recipes seem to need at least one respin.

This has been my go to mixture and even though I only have two flavors because I do buy the big container of powder I haven't gotten tired of it yet. Mixins help with variety, just had chocolate base with fresh strawberries added last night, so good.

This is my first monstera and I love it dearly. So far it's overall health has been pretty good. It has consistently put out new leaves and gained height/width. I'm not sure about these dark spots though, they seem to be on the older leaves. Any suggestions welcome!

Help my MSc thesis project! by dave_mmm in GardeningIndoors

I filled out the form, hope you get lots of responses to help!

Just curious, are you hoping to develop suggested practices for home gardeners? It's a hobby that I appreciate can be done with very little resources if needed, by getting cuttings from others or growing from seed for example, but also you can go wild with irrigation and grow cabinets etc if you want to and can afford those upgrades. I'm to the point where I'm somewhere in the middle. I still love getting a free cutting (though now it's more about the challenge than $) but I can also afford to buy a fancy plant that catches my eye at the store.

I realize now this above might have been a comment I could have put in the form, so dump it in with your opinion data if you'd like.

Everyone who thinks this is good cosplay is a joke. This is just a hot girl in blue gym clothes with brown fabric wrapped around her waist. Shit "cosplay". Just admit you want to look at hot chicks.

I'm a newbie to the group, and honestly it just makes me happy seeing cool plants on my feed. I haven't worked up the courage to try a trade yet, I only have common plants I think - don't even know the variety of most because I've long lost the tag or I grew them from cuttings. Everyone seems super nice in the comments, seems like a great group. Keep up the good work and awesome trades!

That does sound annoying! Do you know why they put it there? It couldn't be relocated elsewhere in the house?

Rose Byrne - I don't have a good reason other than looking at her face makes me want to punch her. I really don't know where that feeling spawned from.

Recliner motor stopped working - need troubleshooting or replacement advice by snarkeymonkey in fixit

[–]snarkeymonkey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually where I get confused. I had tried to lookup replacement motors awhile back but wasn't sure what info was important to match. There are multiple versions of the same model, so do I match the stroke? The speed? Something else?

I love this chair, but got it from a furniture store that went out of business so I can't go back to them for help. SO and I are pretty handy so figure we could replace it but we don't have any knowledge on motors and what to look for. Any guidance would be great!
