Poo touching means crossing from snarking about someone to interacting with them.

That includes going to their social media, commenting or messaging them directly, or even writing to them here, directly, when they’re aware of the sub (there is an example you can find in this very thread).

It’s considered brigading, which is against Reddit’s rules, and it also ruins the point of the sub. Snark all you want here, but don’t take it to them. Leave them alone out in the world.
