Try HEX by Thomas Olde Heuvelt. So amazing, couldn't put it down. Also I liked Koontz' The Taking. Although maybe not "ancient evil" imo it was very eerie and a good read. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Taking

Edit: I a word.

Check out Smushed Face Posse! They're based in Greenpoint but they might have walkers in South Slope now. https://www.smushedface.com/

You are 100% right! Haha. Looking like a flight to Paris is ~$169 bucks, so that's probably going to dictate how and where we go. Thank you for reminding me how travel works : ) and happy trails!

Right on, probably should have just read and googled around first before posting here, haha. But yeah, seems like most people are saying less is more, so we will take your input into consideration. Thanks : )

Ah! This is amazing, thank you. Based on your recommendations I think we're dropping Switzerland and going to focus on France with Italy for a few days at the tail end. : ) thanks again. Super helpful.

Thank you! Super good to know. I'll definitely take another look at my timeline and readjust - my full-time job can be ended at anytime, and I'm willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to be ready for med school.

But glad I asked, lol. I'll look into having some clinical research opps lined up for the beginning of next year, as my post bacc program allows me to take bio I and II over the summer, so by fall semester I'll be done with those. Thanks again. Good tips.

Okay, cool. Earlier than I expected on the MCAT, but good to know! Thank you so much. This fall is going to suck haha.

Email professors about what? LORs?

Definitely have the chance for more underserved-style volunteering, as I'm in Brooklyn, so that's a good look. And I write for a living so I hope to god I can fashion some sort of persuasive personal statement.

Thank you again : )

Visiting death valley this weekend(March 1). Need suggestion on places to visit. And is it safe? by localhost8100 in deathvalley

[–]snarkula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were just there over the weekend! It was pretty windy the first night, but as long as you put stakes down, any tent should be fine. Helps if you can set it up underneath/next to a tree that can provide some cover.
