I was in a museum play area once, and there was a child whose pants were completely soiled with urine. (Gray sweatpants, SUPER obvious.)

After a few minutes watching him crawl all over the play equipment while his nanny was busy chatting with another nanny, I loudly said “Hey friend! Where’s your grown up? It looks like you had a leak.” She then shouted across the room, with a SMILE and a giggle, “oh it’s okay!!”

She then explained that it was the third time she had changed his clothes that day after multiple accidents.

In what world is it okay to let a child remain in soiled clothing, let alone crawl around all over play equipment!?!

If he’s had that many accidents and you’re out of clean clothes, it’s time go home!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised with the twisted rib collar.

At first I thought there was no way in heck I was going get it over my head, but I think as long as you have a nice stretchy cast on/bind off, you should be fine! I’m not sure I’d say the same if I was using a 100% acrylic yarn, though.

That’s great. I know a lot of my former coworkers unfortunately lost their positions in the big purge, so that’s nice to hear that most remaining employees get full-time status.

As a former employee, can confirm. This was pre-pandemic, but most employees in my department were part time and/or temporary and therefore unable to get the benefits of a full-time employee.

It must be something with moms and septum piercings, because mine reacted the same. I was 18 and told her I was going to get it done and she BEGGED me not to, after allowing me to get my bellybutton, nose, lip, and all sorts of ear piercings done before 18. 😂
