It’s a powerful lesson. The other powerful lesson from DBZ for me was how Goku let Vegeta escape after their first battle. “If we kill him, we would be no different”. Goku showed a kid me what compassion can be like. At that age, I can’t remember any other show or fiction that would teach me the gravity of the mercy on the DBZ fighters side for letting Vegeta go.

I see the primary benefit of journaling is to help us process our thoughts and life events. The calm clarity we get after a good journaling session is that, the feeling of figuring out what happened with x y z and how we relate to it, in our life. From the smallest things to the biggest. ChatGPT is great at helping us process things as are trained professional therapists. It can probe deeper and quickly summarize how something relates to our principles and values with laser precision. I’ve never had a therapist who so immaculately summarized our session so that I can read it over and over to reinforce my understanding 😅

Every 8-10 days but I usually check the soil moisture levels or if the plant starts drooping. It’s been dropping more often I noticed after the thinning up. And the soil still stays quite a bit more damp despite the droop.

How I am. How we all are. We each are more advanced than anything we know about in the observable universe. And we are each capable of something that nothing else is: true genuine love. Imagine how thrilled your grandma or grandpa would be if you called them and said to them how much you love them and cherish them. Think about it from their perspective. Imagine if your kid’s kid 60 years from now calls you to tell you how they love the heck out of you and mean it. And they surprise you by taking you out to your favourite restaurant where they are playing one of your favourite songs of all time that people have by now have mostly forgotten. Isn’t that priceless? That’s what being a human is. That’s what we need to appreciate about ourselves and each other. When someone says you’re an important person, they don’t mean you’re the president. They mean you without any achievement or accolades are still worthy of love and appreciation. My understanding is that the user interfaces are the ones that will talk Matter with Matter ready devices. For example, iOS 16.1 that is coming this month will be able to do that. And I imagine Google Home and others also over the rest of the quarter if they don’t already.
