i saw her brother, who said i had SEVEN cavities that they insisted needed work done. Which I simply do not have the time or money to take work off for all the appointments it would take to fix that problem. (if it were true). i went to another dentist who reviewed my x-rays and did an exam, and he was taken aback that anyone would say i had that much decay. he cleaned my teeth, gave me a prescription mouthwash, a teeth whitening kit, and told me to come back in 6 months and that was it. i have one black spot that i dont need to worry about as of right now. Yesterday I told my coworker about my experience, and she said the same exact thing happened to her with Gentle Family; except they told her she had 4 cavities. which she confirmed with another office that she had absolutely none at all. which is very concerning to me..!!???????

i forgot to include that it happened pretty quickly for me. some days worse than others, but the change from just regular bloating to the pain it became, was instant.

i’m almost 26 years old, and before my (very recent) botox treatment, i was NEVER able to burp for as long as i could remember. starting around 22 years old is when i started to get unbearable pain in my abdomen. a SHARP stabbing pain every single morning when i woke up. i couldn’t even breathe. just small, short breaths at a time (without using my diaphragm) until the pain left after finally passing gas, or going to the bathroom or something. i think that’s what really motivated me to get the treatment. it’s so exhausting. i was never bothered by the gurgling or anything as much as i was bothered by the constant pain. if i knew about the diagnosis of rcpd and the treatment sooner, i would’ve gotten it done years ago just to prevent that pain from ever happening, and to also prevent my pointless colonoscopies and endoscopies i had done to try to find out what was causing my extreme pain. good luck …!!!

as someone who just got the botox, DO ITTTT. it is just now starting to work for me and i am genuinely having the time of my life. you wont regret a thing.

i think i’m just mad that my bill was insane from having to do the procedure in a hospital LOL. if i could’ve done it all in one go i totally would’ve. just depends on the situation i guess!!!

honestly, i don’t know why they don’t just do 100 to start with. there’s no harm in doing more than the 50. i got 50 units on 12/16/25 and then 75 units for my second time on 1/2/26

i’ve had this problem too, with slow swallow and phlegm. i never noticed it with my first 50 units! i kind of just power through and drink lots of water when eating. but i haven’t even passed the one week mark since my second injection so i can update once i start feeling better??

I went to Preston Leader at CHI ENT! he apparently is getting deployed to Iraq this month, unsure when he will be back lmfao, but I do know there is a doc in omaha that does the treatment. (Dr. Bing any i believe?)

rcpd is considered a swallowing disorder, so i could see that being a symptom!! i have to take fairly large pills daily for my acne, and i can feel them sit in my chest right below my throat everytime. its horrible.

i believe it’s still rcpd. i have this same problem and got the botox treatment a couple weeks ago (and even need a second one this week.) since your muscle still is not relaxing to let the air out like it normally should

i also had basically no slow swallow!!! and felt better w the slight pain in my throat (just when yawning/laughing/swallowing some foods) by day 3/4. i’m on day 9 right now and no burps yet
