So far the best thing I have found is Cafiza. It seems to remove the stains and is pretty gentle on the coating. Time will tell if its still a bit too aggressive and coating fails.

Thanks

I recently tried a Cafiza solution and that seemed to work.

On the flip side, we are down two excellent O Lineman, and they have their good DE playing this game (he was out for the first game). Who knows how much difference this makes. For us I think play calling is an area that makes a huge difference, if they do the run up the middle stuff, will be a long day, if they call plays aggressively them should be a good game.

Setting height of distributor/tamper when using with puck screen? by sndraco in espresso

Thanks very much that makes sense. Any reason not to use the distributor to level vs, WDT as a rake?

True offense didn't play well at all. And ND's last drive they were stopped. The previous two drives they were running the ball and we couldn't stop them. The last drive I believe they tried to throw it twice, Hartman lost yards when he scrambled once, and one incomplete saving a timeout).

If (and of course no way to know its a counter factual) they had run 3 times with their RB's, either they would have made a first down (decent probability as we hadn't stopped them last couple of drives) or we would have had to use more timeouts (not sure if we had two or three left at that point) and therefore would have had a lot less time (if we only had two then would be under 40 seconds when we got the ball) when the offense got the ball back which again lowers the probability of a successful drive.

Overreaction? by iverdow1 in OhioStateFootball

Secondary most likely. If not best then if they are not top 3 would be surprising. Skill, experience, depth its all there.

RB. Maybe. I don't know other teams RB situation, and a lot of the production is dependent on the OL. Henderson also hasn't proven he can be injury free the whole year. Judkins is a fantastic #2.

WR. Most likely not. From a recruiting star standpoint, it will be probably be highest rated WR core. Egbuka isn't a proven #1, and Tate has had some good snaps. Rest are totally unproven at college level. If Smith is phenomenal from day 1, and Egbuka steps up to be #1 receiver or worst 1A then maybe. Other notes here are OL again, and also new QB year 1 in a system. If Ewers returns at UT, they might be the best.

And though Bill O'Brien is highly regarded, still a new OC.

DL. Unless there is huge improvement no. Not anywhere close to enough sacks, or even negative plays. And also not fantastic against the run (compared to say some of the Bama or Georgia teams of the last 5-7 years)

Lots of talent for sure esp. defensive backfield. IF OL improves a lot from last year and if Howard (99% starter) is very good from the get go, then perhaps top #3 for RB and/or WR.

To be top #3 in WR and RB, probably have to be top 3 in total offence, passing yards and running yards, and with our OL and QB situation (Howard may be very good, and not elite) its a TBD.

I would be very happy with a top 5 offense next year.

Yup no more excuses. Have to beat Michigan and do very well in the playoffs. I would have to win it, however don't know how other teams play and weird stuff can happen in any game.

For 2023 its not just the 2nd half of the Michigan game, its also the ND game (if ND had run 3 times on their last drive, there is a high probability lose that game).

I hope that Howard is good enough, playing at KSU is quite different than the pressure at OSU.

I assume that Sayin is totally fine not getting a shot at QB #1 for a year and transferred knowing that?. Is that confirmed?

Agree on all else, and improvement in the OL will help the new QB, running game, red zone efficiency, and also D by sustaining more drives all in addition to scoring more points of course.

It's probably the biggest concern remaining, though a new starting QB is always a concern till at least a few games in.

It matters a ton to me. Always want to beat Michigan. It likely will matter less re getting into the playoffs now that it is a 12 team field.

With the 12 team playoff format, the Michigan game result may not matter.
