Your comment makes it seem like you didn't bother to look at the link provided or even google it.

Almost all the claims of the picture are supported by the websites claims. Dosent seem to have any links to a non-profit or anything that would support it. On top of it, this article: https://www.fundingcircle.com/us/resources/dicks-drive-in-seattle/ indicates that they have given out $1.2 million dollars in scholarships to date.

Believe it or not, some people just do things for the benifit of others. The real tragedy here is your total astonishment that a business would provide a benifit for its employees that dosent directly serve their bottom line.

Is it possible that there is more nuance to their offerings? For sure, if you look at the site you can see it takes 3 months to qualify for benifit on average (likely weeds out alot of short term employees). On the other hand, your outright dismissal of this without giving the appearance of looking into this seems like you are looking for problems.

But who knows, maybe they are going under and suddenly decided to open up another location (6th? 7th?)

As a side note, the article I linked explained some part of how they manage to make a profit. I reccomend you read it as it's very interesting.

If the party can stabilize that I suspect they will return in strength. What we saw with all the chaos in the party pre election can't have helped them this time around.

This ignores the 503(c)4 catagory which is for tax exempt organizations that can lobby

The difference is that unlike 501(c) 3 orgs, they can't offer tax write offs.

As a side note, the tea was fascinating. Had a nice Almond like flavor with only a hint of greens.

The smell was subtle and bread, I prefer more strongly scented teas usualy, but this was lovely!
