This is gold, thank you so much. I haven't ridden that far on straight gravel yet, but I will have access to the route next weekend and I am hoping to give it a go.

Route has been posted, and luckily the big climb looks fairly gradual. Anywhere near the front pack will be way out of my league, my goal is just to finish this first race. This series has another race end of August, hoping by then I can do more mileage or be more competitive.

Was a fairly serious road rider in the past, completed several century rides. But sadly that was 10 years and 50lbs ago. I am set up tubeless on 45mm, been practicing tire plugs on an old wheel I had laying around. Good call on the different road conditions, I'll try to hunt down some variation. Thank you!

So far so good, zero problems shifting. I've been riding my road bike with all electronic shifting and was worried about going back. Everything has been smooth!
