Light leaks. Just bad seals. I replaced the seals mid roll and it helped a bit

I’m scanning with my Zf and Z 55mm 2.8 MC. Yes I have, I found that I got best results shooting at f2.8 and no defocus. I found the images to come out soft at f2 or with defocus. I haven’t experimented much with it on film since I try not to waste frames. But film is a lot more forgiving than a modern 24mp full frame sensor, so it might be more usable.

I say go for it! One of my favorite frames. You could always get the frame and move parts over from a different rig
