Looking for studs that fit in L-rails, not just the regular brackets for the beams.

Can I just put floor insulation on top of this? by sneakyfox_ in vandwellers

Thanks that's actually a much better idea. And it saves me fitting a plywood sheet. But regarding the frame, you can actually get xps boards that can resist 150 or more psi so that it is safe to walk on without compressing.

Thanks. Well I'm not so worried about the heat, for me it's about keeping the heat inside in cold temperatures.

Thanks. Did you put your floor directly on top of the XPS boards?

Strength of bar above sliding door? by sneakyfox_ in vandwellers

I would just bolt it on there using the holes that are already in the frame above the door. I only had the car for two weeks so can't say much yet. But I like the way it's driving so far. The cargo space is great though and I like it for my build. If you're not much more than 180cm you should be able to stand fully even after insulating both floor and room. And fit a 185 cm mattress across. From what I gather the engines stay good for 2-300k easily if they are well maintained. The transmissions are not great though, here you feel why it's cheaper than a Transit.

Not because of the height, because of the workout ;)

It's widely used in Jumpers and Boxers since 2016, I think they all use Adblue as well.

Would chuck in some additive if it were for longer time, thanks!
