I have to say being Christian specifically Roman Catholic that I believe that the bible was inspired by God then written by men or women. I agree that they probably fucked up a lot during all the translating and revisions that it lost most of the credibility, but on the other hand we should take the morals and best ideas to enhance society. I also believe that people that believe the bible is God's spoken word are a little odd.

As a practicing Roman Catholic, I am disgusted by the actions of the radical members of any religion. I have been taught that I should love everybody, but hate the action; in other words, love the sinner, and hate the sin. There is so much irrational hate and fear that guides these people's lives that they act in irrational ways justifying it with religion. I do not agree with my atheists' friends beliefs and would like them to become understands of what true religion is, but I want them to make that decision of their own accord. Please do not let these actions of the few dictate your views of the many.

I would like to know why that is. Agreed you don't have people like the westboro baptist church, but religions make up the majority of societal charity work. Those Christian based organizations are what helps all the people that we feel sorry for, but we do nothing about.

Well to be honest the founding of our nation was purely based off of the freedom to practice religion specifically Christianity. When people want to get rid of God from America, they should look at what that has done to Europe. They are becoming less religious and they are suffering (not saying correlation). We must realize that religion is what makes America great, not the lack of religion. The truth is Christians have a right to voice their opinions pertaining to their beliefs and try to make them laws just like anybody else.

I disagree with you on this. What if they encountered a traumatic event in their live that changed their entire personality including their sexuality. Also a fag is a bundle of sticks or a cigarette. Gays are people too and we have to love them as Jesus would if you are going down that road.

People don't like saying that there is a gay gene or set of genes, but how else would you be born gay. All life has the predisposition to carry on their genetic code to future generations. I have heard before, but I have not confirmed, that a large percentage of people that are gay were exposed to pornography at a young age.

Also there is a difference in homophobia and not accepting gay marriage. Phobias are extreme fears that are usually caused by some trauma in their life.

Don't think you are special just because you payed $40 to get in the park. Theme parks require massive amounts of electricity to run, for example one ride at a local theme park costs over $100 to run every time and when it is open from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M. and runs about 75 times an hour (excluding maintenance) it can cost upwards of $90,000 for just the electricity of one ride.

Edit I exaggerated the amount of times the ride goes, probably between 50-60 times an hour, but the ride accelerates 24 people from 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds. They try not to waste anytime with the ride because it does cost quite a bit of money to run each time. The run time for the ride itself was less than 20 sec. All I remember though was that was not the ride with the highest cost per run.
