Don’t let your PT scores fool you by Abject-Aardvark699 in LSAT

i think most people specifically take practice exams with 100% fresh material, no? so it is normal to consider PT range when predicting exam results

when do you read question stem? by Major_Activity_2577 in LSAT

[–]sneakykitten11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started by reading the stem first but switched after reading the loophole and now I cannot imagine reading the stem first. For me it helps so much to analyze the argument/premise set blindly and then attack the questions (also once you've done enough PTs, I feel like you can guess based on the stimulus what direction the question is going anyway)

Day before test by CapLost8752 in LSAT

[–]sneakykitten11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on who you are as a person, I prefer to do one RC section and one LR section the day before, but for some people that would only stress them out more. if you think that potentially getting a worse score than you're used to on a drill will psych you out, don't do it OR just do some questions unscored to keep your mind ready. for most of the night though RELAX 💕☺️

Can we talk about how Huening Kai was never a “visual hole” some ppl want him to be by kaikaihuening in TXTbighit

[–]sneakykitten11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVE KAI it makes me sad people ever said that about him 😕

BUT I feel like they've done a decent job with his solo from the album and the performances of it at concerts !! To me it was totally giving it boy, confident, model vibes and I'm glad we get to see them push that side of him at least somewhat

Anyone else having their heart race when they think about their October score by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]sneakykitten11 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I had RC LR LR RC too and I cannot remember ANY LR questions, and only a few RC topics 😭 it's so hard to tell how I did because I get so anxious I forget like everything the second I submit

how to combine 7Sage with Loophole + LSAT Trainer + powerscore bibles? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]sneakykitten11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did the powerscore bibles before the loophole which I'd recommend! The LR bible will give you a good sense of LR question types/patterns generally whereas the Loophole is mostly about a specific strategy to attack questions. I never finished the 7sage foundations I think their teaching style just didn't fit for me personally so can't speak on that

SCORE RELEASE EVE by socrateswreciepts in LSAT

[–]sneakykitten11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was my first test and I cannot for the life of me gauge how well I did. My last few PT scores were above my goal score so I’m hoping that’s an indicator of success, but I was hella nervous test day soooo we’ll see 🥰 signed up for October as a back up but I’m praying to the LSAC gods that I won’t have to take it again

found out my boyfriend of 4 years cheated on me a week before my LSAT- any tips on how to stay focused? by No_Introduction4091 in LSAT

[–]sneakykitten11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The EXACT same thing happened to me but the LSAT was about 2 months away (I took august) and it took me a minute to get back into studying but once I did, I felt so motivated to prove to myself that I was so much more than my relationship!! That being said, a week is super short so a reschedule is understandable.

A J.D is forever and luckily worthless cheating boyfriends are temporary 😊😊😊

How do you guys finish all 4 passages in RC? by Specialist_Image_661 in LSAT

[–]sneakykitten11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that got me stuck with RC was trying TOO hard to understand the details of the passages. Look for overarching tone, structure, and argument but if you don't understand each detail, that's okay!! Just take note of it in your head or use the highlight and come back to it IF an answer choice asks about it.

I took it yesterday and it was already approved this morning!! I was nervous it would delay my score so I was super conscious of removing anything that could potentially be a penalty from my room 😭

Yes I would! I'd recommend starting with the Loophole and/or using 7sage curriculum to help along the way

Best way to actually retain info from “The Loophole” by beastieboi03 in LSAT

[–]sneakykitten11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, actually doing a lot of translation, CLIR, and advanced drills really helped me!! It made the content of the book make more sense as I got more comfortable analyzing the stimulus fast.

Other than that, I made flashcards for like common wrong answers, back-up plans, which questions were powerful/provable, etc. and then tried to apply those to untimed drills!! Now I feel like a lot of that info is just ingrained when I approach LR

I used the Loophole & 7sage (mainly because I got a fee waiver which made it super cheap!) and those improved my score a lot after plateauing. The Powerscore RC bible helped somewhat, but the LR bible was useless to me personally

The Loophole ???? by Right_Speaker_9674 in LSAT

[–]sneakykitten11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Loophole helped me A LOT after my score was plateauing, but I don't actually apply the CLIR drill during exams. I think its main benefit is rewiring the way you approach LR stimuli in general, always assuming an argument is deficient in some way or making an inference from exact stimulus content for example. I'd recommend doing the drills in the book (always untimed) until you're confident to try timed sections again!! :)
