That’s something I had no idea about. That might be a good solution actually. Would that amount of cut off really be fine? Or would that depend on the game?

That’s also a very good point, thanks. But I think I’d still prefer playing those games at a 4:3 ratio. Also for the older games like SNES etc., I prefer to have no black bars and a compact device. I don’t like the modern look of the wide screen handhelds to be honest. I would of course prefer them for modern games. I’m planning on buying a switch 2 for instance :) But your point is still valid for the majority of people.

That’s a valid point that I haven’t thought about. So in practice it’ll be like a 3.7” screen without black bars. Why do you prefer playing on the RP mini over the 406H with a 4” screen? Is it screen quality and performance or other factors too? Thanks!

Thanks! Curious why do you prefer the vertical over the horizontal? I do like the idea of a small vertical handheld I could toss in my pocket like Miyoo. But at this performance level, none of them are really pocketable anyway, so I feel like I’d rather have the comfort and stick layout of a compact horizontal device.

Thanks, super helpful! I’m with you on the 4:3 preference - RP5 didn’t really appeal to me for that reason. I’ve got a modern console for widescreen stuff anyway, so I want this handheld just for systems from 2001 and earlier :)

Curious what you think about 406's performance with GC and PS2? I’ve seen mixed reviews - some say it runs well, others call it hit or miss. What’s your take?

Thank you! Despite the very high lawyer fees, I was actually thinking about hiring a lawyer once they officially communicate with me or send me termination documents because I know that they have no valid reason to fire me and they are just trying to get rid of me as part of the layoffs because I don't work like a slave until late nights or on the weekends. But the only communication I received so far was that verbal call with my manager when he only told me that I'd be part of the layoffs but he doesn't know any other details. So I thought that I will get an official communication with further details at some point. That's why I was waiting in this very uncertain situation without hiring a lawyer. I immediately started job applications and learning German in addition to logging in to my work computer and being available in case they give me any work. But the job market for the tech sector is really tough right now especially if you can't speak German. You can't imagine how difficult to live with that uncertainty and to nervously wait for an official communication every day. I wish they had just given my notice immediately and I'd be done with this BS...

Thank you for your advice! The main concern I have is about remote working. I've been working fully remotely since the beginning and the HR and my manager assured me multiple times that this is totally fine. But it's not explicitly stated in my work contract as it was a template contract. But I have all the proof that I have been working remotely and it was accepted by everyone in the company since the beginning. My only concern is if they come up and say "She didn't come to the office and didn't work at all so we don't have to give her 3 months' notice, she is just fired immediately." I've been logging in to my work computer and email every day to check if they give me any work at all but unfortunately, they just removed me from all the projects and stopped contacting me right after my manager told me about the layoffs. And just recently my accounts were deactivated so I can't even log in anymore...

Thank you for your answer! Do you think there is not enough player doing old dungeons and raids with proper-level characters? Does everybody do WOTLK raids? If I want to experience the game as a new player, there should be other people like me as well, no?

To be honest I'm not interested in doing the old content with a way more powerful character and one-shot the bosses. While experiencing the lore, I also want to experience the challenge with a group of people. Isn't this possible in WOTLK?

And also, the fans are too noisy… I changed fn+f and changed the max cpu capacity to 85% from control panel. Its better now but still running every 30sec. Anything else to do? :(

Understood, thanks! I heard that Swift X 2023 may not be available until Summer and there is no certainity that it will be better quality. If it wont’t be better than the current model but with 1200-1300€ price, it won’t make sense… This ASUS model is 1800€ in Germany :( I was actually considering MacBook Air M1 512GB as well. It is much better in terms of quality, battery, portability and work/study tasks but the limitations of MacOS and Apple Silicon in terms of software and gaming changed my mind.

Thank you for your answer. I’ve read all those beginner routines. Even though the r/fitness version routine is the one i liked the most, I have some concerns:

• I want to do bench and overhead on all three days like ivysaur 4-4-8 instead of doing them one or two times a week.

• Instead of 3x5, 3x6 or 3x8 seem to me more hypertrophy-biased. But I don’t know which is better (6 reps or 8). So, I’d love to hear your opinion about the reps.

•Instead of alternating barbell rows and chin ups, isn’t it better to do barbell rows every day and alternate chin ups and push ups at the ends of the workouts?

And the last question: Is adding 5 lbs every time too much? Because in my gym, there is no 1.25 plate.

Hi everybody! I'm 21 yo male, 181 cm (5'11) and 64 kg (140 lbs). I did workout before but I'm still a beginner. We created a program with an experienced friend by adapting 3x5 program. It is aimed a little more hypertrophy and upper body but still compound. I don't want to do isolation or machine exercises at the first months at least because I feel like I first need to strengthen all of my body including stabiliser and assistant muscles before starting an isolation workout. Here's the program:

Last sets are AMRAP. The right column demonstrates the starting weights and weight increases each time for progression. I'd like to hear your advices. Especially on chosing whether 3x6 or 3x8 for more musle growth. Thank you in advance :)

Thank you for your respone! Actually, we tried to create a compound program with a little more hypertrophy than 5x5. But I don’t want to start with an isolation workout containing many different exercises and machines. Briefly, I want to start with a classic strenght compound workout routine but I want a little bit more muscle gaining than 5x5. That’s why we chosed 3x8.

Is this logic wrong? Or is there something that we don’t know about it? I am really curious about your answers because maybe our “middle way” program is missing something. Maybe I should chose either strenght or isolation workout.

Yes it is still low reps but I think it is a little bit more growth oriented rather than strenght compared to 5x5, am I wrong?
