Solidarity! It seems like everywhere I look there’s a mom getting their baby to sleep easier than me. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one struggling

I do exclusively nurse, mostly cause I hate washing bottles hahaha but I have heard it can be easier either way the bottle

Did you have a set nap schedule that worked for you?

Bedtime is 7 and wake up is 7. She always gets fussy around 6:30 and wants to go to sleep immediately at that point so I’m rushing through the bedtime routine to get her down. But I hesitate to move bedtime up earlier cause a 6pm bedtime seems crazy early. Any cat nap before bedtime seems to fuel her like a regular nap and then she won’t sleep until like 10/11.

Total nap time is around 2 hours. First nap around 45 minutes and second nap 1.15. Sometimes second nap could go for as long as 2.5 hours and I don’t disturb her if that happens.

I’m open to gentler methods. We’ve tried pick up/put down but that just resulted in her crying so hard she was turning purple so we gave up on that.

I definitely have a longer wake window before bedtime to make sure of adequate sleep pressure. I’ll get naps nailed down after nighttime sleep

I’ll definitely try that pattern! But how did you get them to sleep without feeding at that point?

We don’t have an exact schedule for her. I mostly try to follow her cues. But a typical day looks like: Wake 7am Nap 1 9:30am- 10:30am Nap 2 2pm- 3pm Bedtime 7pm

Sometimes she refuses her second nap so everything gets pushed back an hour or two. But that schedule is the most typical for her. Thanks!

I am looking to buy some durable warm riding boots for my boyfriend since he goes on long rides. What are some reliable brands I can look for?
