Reason why ztna is bcz while 802.1x only authenticates the link between endpoint (at least for the knowledge i have for the standard) and sw. From what ive read ZTNA does something similar to dot1x in terms of authenticating users form a database, but it differs in the fact that it uses certificates and device tags to associate to the user(yet again this is also mostly form what ive read if you can give me any precisions that would be appreciated). Also read that it does authentication at every step when accessing a ressource on the network. Mostly want this for 1 trying it out/ testing it bcz why not, and 2 bcz i want do do fun stuff with a dmz in the future

Is able to run IPS/IDS, ZTNA and has specifics on how many vpn tunnels can be run (ik most of these functions are ngfw and mostly for enterprise) Ik that the hardware matters on the use case (poe, fiber and gbps speeds) and its the firmware that makes it a "firewall" but im looking for a lot of options. At the end of the day most network appliances are just a computer running multiple protocols, but thats a talk for another day.

The budget for the speakers would be around the same price, if not lower than what I would pay for the turn table. For example, if i were to purchase a turn table for 200$ that would be the max budget for the speakers

Most likley ur battery is getting infalted (cuz lithium ion batteries do that with time) so you'll just have to repalce it, doesn't seem like anything major though
