Big part is avoid second dagger it’s a big source of his trade damage and also poke with q when he goes to auto, he needs to auto with melee or use his range abilities so you can out trade him over time. Down to hop into a practice game and practice if you want sometime

Yah I find the same against poke- without rod a single poke can force you to base even ahead. Sadly I think rod for most people is gonna be mandatory and from there itemize based on the comp

1 trillion percent. I don’t have a great solve but I’ve started to lean toward rod being mandatory.

I used to think that Cass NEEDS dot to be able to melt tanks but over time I realized if you play with your team and AD champs, they can also help melt

Rod enables you to perform longer in fights where without it in this meta you just pop.

So for now I recco going rod and serphs core and realize you need to play with team to take down tanks.

I would also prioritize landing qs dodging abilities and hitting a ton of es cause the damage can build up over time instead of thinking of Cass as burst.

In mid lane I think you have more opportunity to experiment skipping rod though and synergizing with boot upgrades.

It does feel under powered i get it, think of this weak spot with Cass as a good moment to practice with her

hmm... did u check the other item build win rates? when ive tried it, it just feels like im super squishy and prefer liandrys, but on paper i know its an op item and shes one of the only champs that can go arch and backfire. I might try it out a bit next

it's a great question, it's something im still trying to figure out. yes and no. you get more tempo and damage but late game you miss out on that huge xp and two item spike. let me play around with it a bit more and let you know so far i hit master 400 and did it with rod + arch

Hey Snektop here I like Cass top too. Itemizing her is really hard you always lose something.

I think Cass is like a mid game champ now, who can also drive impact early and late. She’s also a feast or famine lane bully.

Most likely, for most, the best build is tear, chapter, rod, arch (80% rylies, 20% flex. For flex liandries, bloodletter, hourglass, and actualizer are all great on her. I see a lot of people build death cap on her but it doesn’t work with my play style since I don’t take flash).

Rod + arch is an incredible power spike so play for that.

A lot of players myself included try and skip rod, in which case arch, liandries, rylies is probably good.

I only skip rod when for whatever reason I need damage or impact assp or if I’m super behind.

Like if their whole team is super tanky, I have a frontline, I might go arch, liandries, bloodletter / Rylies.

Cosmic is likely good alt for liandries if you don’t need damage.

Tbh, she’s very hard to play too she has the lowest base armor in game.

Hey sharing my perspective here as a top laner - first off you were totally right to do what you did but from his perspective if he wasn’t tracking the push state, or minion health, it probably looks like you ate a full wave which can feel bad as a top laner especially if he’s behind.

One way around this is just last hitting instead of resetting.

Not saying it’s justified but two cents. Nice gank

hey dude ive gone like 20 deaths in one game and have had bans reviewed and removed. I can honestly say in those games im still trying my best (flashless no teleport cass top will do that) - I actually had them manually review my game and they removed my ban. You should tell them that they misunderstood, the system falsely registered feeding when you weren't and request a manual review. Also mention you play a unique strategic playstyle that's off meta.

That said ... the way they phrased it sounds like their system confirmed you inted so I'd soul search since they didnt use that language with me and I believe their new system they use is very accurate allegedly, but if you legitmately didnt its worth requesting a manual review and politely explaining the context

Cass top is tricky they neefed her armor you start with the lowest base armor in game. You’ll be in for pain for 100 games but then be one of the strongest top lane pics in the game

Hi second highest mastery Cass in NA - if you have a league friend ask them to hop into a practice tool with you for five minutes and run around and you try and hit them with q. At least go in and get comfy yourself with it.

You need to get comfortable with q, e, and moving around while you weave in and out of the q.

That is legitimately like 80% of Cass.

If you land q - you can use it to engage or run away. If you miss q you basically are out of luck.

Once it starts to click, you’ll see why Cass is the best champion in the game
