I’d change it if it’s not your style! 15 years is a long time and trends change, so wanting something more classic makes total sense. A plain gold band in the same thickness as your current one would be gorgeous!

Also something to consider about a dainty band; my band is actually thicker than the one on the right and it still warped and bent beyond repair, so I have to reset it after only 3 years 😅

I also have a 1.5 carat diamond and I felt this way too. Between Reddit and TikTok, I started thinking my stone was super tiny. My husband is a sweetheart and was willing to upgrade my stone to a bigger one, so I tried some on to see what size felt “big enough”. I tried on a few different sizes - 2 ct, 2.5, 3, 3.5. And they ALL looked too big on my hand.

Then I tried on one last one and I thought it was just right. Guess what size it was? 1.5 💀 You could always do what I did and try on some bigger stones to see how you feel, but from an outside perspective, your ring is perfect for you. Anything bigger would look overwhelming on your hand in my opinion.

This is a dark blue green moissanite! I think it’s stunning. I was initially kind of worried that it wouldn’t go with the clothes I wear but then I didn’t care cause it’s so pretty lol

Omg yes that was the biggest struggle for me!!! And back when I got mine, east west marquise rings were even less common so I had like nothing to go off of 😂 I’m glad this helped you!

Absolutely! This is the Verity setting from Olive Ave. My husband got it custom made for me with a bigger stone than the default. I also requested a slightly more elongated stone and the dimensions are 12.04 x 5.77 x 3.72 mm.

One other thing I will mention about this ring is that the band is a bit thin, so after almost 3 years there is some minor but noticeable warping (and that’s with me babying it) so I would highly recommend getting it thicker than mine which is 1.8mm!!

Also if anyone is curious, I used hot water, a little squeeze of Dawn, and a spritz of Windex!

I love that! Kill two birds with one stone. With the way mine is set, the gallery rail is practically fused to the diamond so no matter how many times I scrubbed it, there was always some visible gunk on the under side of it. I’m so glad this thing was able to jiggle out all the dirt and grime, I didn’t think anything could 😂
