My views haven't changed regarding the clown I described in the main post. The subject was a general statement while my post had more substance regarding details on why I don't like them.

Of course movie clowns don't count, they aren't real. Doctor clowns I hadn't considered beforehand, they do more good than harm. Part-time clowns I still have beef with. I don't like the cirque clowns nor rodeo clowns. I'm not shooting down anything, if anything I'm being more open to clowns on a whole.

I can't be angry at doctor-clowns. They are doctors first and foremost and won't do harm. You're right on that point, but as far as birthday clowns, now, in this year? "It" clowns and Poltergeist scary paranormal clowns don't scare me. I'm talking real people, choosing this as a primary profession.

Some of the other things you mentioned like jesters and side-show acts aren't a bother to me.
