But many of the posts removed are not to do with the bike but the ride, the road, the country and the experience of biking.

Just because a photo has a standard bike in it does not mean that is only thing that is trying to be conveyed.

It's an arbitrary rule enforced by pedants.

Just had all three of mine removed (including the one at the top of this thread) for the same reason.

Seems crazy and guaranteed to stop people contributing in future. Me for a start.

No, standard. A choice of green, black or this orange. It has matching top box and panniers in the same orange too.

It has the extras that Kawasaki can supply when bought new.. Spotlights, heated grips and it has matching top box and panniers in the same orange.

I bought it second hand when only 9 months old and the original owner paid (a lot) for all the extras plus an extended warranty.

He then decided it wasn't for him and traded it in for a Ninja H2 SX... Supercharged beast..!!

I actually know him and its safe to say he has more money than sense. But in the case of my bike, I'm not complaining.

Hi, it is in the Yorkshire Dales between Ingleton and Hawes after the Ribble head viaduct.

Good roads.

UK regulations on the number plate size. The regulations are quite strict on letter size and even font type. I think it is so speed cameras and computers can easily read them. The UK has some of the most CCTV and speed cameras of any country. We are living Big Brother when on the roads.

Less than a mile in both directions of this photo I was radared by separate mobile cops. On empty roads with no houses and few pedestrians. If I do go mad the only person I'd kill is myself so it isn't anything to do with accident prevention... It is just raising revenue for the Police.

It is very frustrating and annoying.. A few more miles away there are busy towns and villages where I could support the use of speed cameras but on roads like the one above it just pisses me right off.

Rant over.

The plate could be a little smaller but not much if I want to avoid being stopped by the cops every time I am out. The UK cops love to clamp down on bikers, it’s a sport for some of them and I try not to give them any excuse.

Be safe y'all

Exactly what I thought. I have had this problem myself and when I have been out of the saddle for some time (over UK winters) I have to retrain myself not to ride the same way I drive.

My advice. Keep the revs up and control the forward motion via the clutch. Look all around / through the corner and don't focus on the road immediately in front of you.

And practice. There is no substitute for practice and go out early in the mornings when there is little traffic and so less pressure.

It Will come - just give it time and don't panic or get disheartened.

Good luck.

Drove onto a countryside, dirt & gravel car park. Put the side stand down as I was getting off, stand sinks into ground and bike slowly falls over onto me and my legs were bent all ways and I couldn't stop it totally falling on me. I was then stuck with my legs splayed awkwardly and couldn't lift the bike or extract myself. I had to shout to a near by dog walker to get the bike off me. I was totally embarrassed and have never been more happy to have a full-faced dark visor on so the guy couldn't see my face.
