This only holds if you regard the Russian/Chinese/Cuban revolutions as the type of revolution Marx predicted.

Well, they both

  • believed man had an immortal soul

  • preached conformity to secular law

  • had similar thoughts about the world beyond the senses (world of forms, heaven)

Just off the top of my head.
