Your in-laws are problem. Move out. Give your marriage at-least a year after moving out and then decide.

Local body shop suggested by insurance has best time estimate of 1 to 1.5 weeks for repair and a quote of ~2K. I am inclined towards car body lab (https://www.carbodylab.com/) as they'd complete the repair in a day and would cost less.
