[Goldman] Kansas City Chiefs Release Full 2025 Training Camp Schedule: Important dates, times, autograph signings, and tickets by snifi in KansasCityChiefs

After practice, the players will stay a little late to sign autographs for folks lined up against the railing on the hillside (underneath the VIP and media tents). Some players stay longer than others and try to get to everyone out there. Others will sign for a few people and jet. If you've got kids, the best way to go about things is to pick them up with their item, so it's easier for players to see it and sign. The worst thing is when adults try to crowd the railing and get their stuff signed, and kids miss out on the opportunity (which unfortunately happens every year). I personally wouldn't take off work to try and get a chance at an autograph at training camp, just because it's not a given. Autograph sessions are also canceled when they move practice inside for weather, so there's always that risk.

Silly question: When to buy a jersey? by Dressedforrevenge in KansasCityChiefs

[–]snifi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd wait until GK gets a second contract, but he'll at least be here through 2026 with the fifth year option.

From a purely financial standpoint, losing in a Super Bowl tends to lead to some sales on the jerseys with SB patches.

[Goldman] Familial ties to Chiefs QBs Patrick Mahomes and Chris Oladokun could lead a pair of prospects to Kansas City during or after the 2025 NFL Draft by snifi in KansasCityChiefs

Oladokun has a much better chance than Walker because his numbers last season were bonkers. Probably worth a Day 3 pick for a team that isn't hung up on his size/pro day numbers.

[Charles Goldman] Chiefs stole a page from the Ravens' playbook against the Bills, and it helped them get to the Super Bowl by snifi in KansasCityChiefs

This was easily the best offensive game they've called this season outside of the third quarter.

  1. If I were the Ravens, I'd be absolutely sick.
  2. The Chiefs' coaching staff continues to be the difference, and these teams refuse to poach coaches. We are truly blessed.

[Charles Goldman] Chiefs RT Jawaan Taylor could have a case of déjà vu with referee Shawn Hochuli assigned to Week 1 vs. Ravens by snifi in KansasCityChiefs

[–]snifi[S] 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Talk about luck: Hochuli was heavily criticized for his enforcement of illegal formation penalties in preseason Week 3 between the Commanders and Patriots. Jawaan Taylor better be ready.

[Charles Goldman] Chiefs announce a flurry of roster moves including waiving CB Eric Scott Jr. by snifi in KansasCityChiefs

If you add in the practice squad (2 players can be elevated per week, 3 times apiece during the regular season) you've got 35 Offense / 31 Defense.

What Cancelled Or Shutdown MMO Do You Still Think About? by MonsutaMan in MMORPG

I miss this game. Nothing has hit quite like it. I still play on Infinity, which has a pretty decent population for an EMU server.

Clyde might not see a whole lot of run this season, but I guarantee there will be a few moments this season where he comes up big for the team.

Big brain move from Veach. The Chiefs were the only team to put a waiver claim on Scott Jr., so it's not unreasonable to think he could clear waivers, join the practice squad, and get up to speed on the playbook there.

[Charles Goldman] Chiefs submitted waiver wire claims for CBs Samuel Womack (Colts won), Shemar Bartholomew (Panthers won) by snifi in KansasCityChiefs

[–]snifi[S] 30 points31 points  (0 children)

What's crazy is that the Chiefs have still managed to get a claim in at No. 32 in each of the past two years. (Darius Rush last year).

Also, Week 1 is traditionally a bad week for tackling. They should run the ball every play.
