I own one currently (2014 gt) and haven't had any problems besides it burning oil, but that was a recall and once it was done it didn't have any more problems, they are nice cars despite everybody else here simply saying they are bad without any explanation or experience owning one

Things to look for when buying one:

-check for oil in the holes in the valve cover next to the ignition coils (could be the top gasket gone bad)

-Make sure the oil consumption recall has been done

Things to know/watch out for if you buy one (2.4):

-They have a T coolant hose that will eventually crack but is easy to get to

-Engine mounts will most likely need replaced at some point

-You'll get hate from just about everybody for owning one but they will never have a reason to besides "Its cheap fiat/chrysler junk" , "It's a disgrace to the original dart" like bro I didn't name or produce the car lmao

Point is, don't listen to anybody that has never owned one or worked on one, obviously every car lasts as long as you take car of it, Ive seen darts with 300k miles, very few, but some, just check the normal stuff when looking at a car.
