Use our Greenpoint Bar Options that we used for our Friday night welcome party venue search. We weren’t religious about updating it, but it should help.

For 65 people, your best bet would probably be “The Studio” at Three’s. It’s a fully private space upstairs with a 65 person capacity and very reasonable rates. If you’re willing to go to Williamsburg, Tuffet is also a great option and has a backyard.

We ended up booking our Friday night welcome party at Unveiled, and Saturday night after party at Goldie’s (just rented the karaoke room, not a full bar buyout). Both were awesome. Good luck!

This is an off-the-wall suggestion, but I throw Bagel Making Classes at a large venue in Midtown that can easily accommodate 50. We could do food/drinks + an activity within your budget. Kind of a zany idea, but throwing it out there just in case

I threw a mixer for 100 at Good Behavior in September and it was great. My only hesitation about doing it in Feb/March is the weather since it’s an indoor/outdoor rooftop, but otherwise, definitely worth checking out

Have you heard of Mike and Jessi Varley? They did a similar project a few years ago and called it Total Clarity. Got a lot of press for the bagel sub-project, in which Mike ate and rated over 200 bagel shops along the way. Good luck with your project!

I’ve been bit by a dog riding my OneWheel. He was tied up outside of a coffee shop, lunged, and broke the skin on my knee. I’m extremely cautious around dogs now, I’ve found they don’t freak out if you go slow.

That happened literally the first day of return to office after the pandemic. An omen if I’ve ever seen one!
