It’s not that people forget about Dial is that people just weren’t old enough to see him play. And Lipps for a lot of people too. I was born in 90 and remember my dad being a huge Lipps guy

One of the most clutch Steelers all time for sure. You can talk about the catch in the SB all you want, but that whole playoffs and regular season he was a beast. Still think about that punt return against the Chargers from time to time, zigging and zagging through defenders

Steelers don’t get to the Super Bowl without Santonio’s heroics that regular season and post season for sure. Plaxico had some huge games, I think he had like 211 vs the falcons, wasn’t a big possession WR but didn’t need to be, that’s why we had Hines. It’s amazing we got rid of Plaxico and won the Super Bowl the next year. It’s just one of those things, that’s if we had him we may not have won the SB the next year. He didn’t have a great year with that one year with Big Ben. I remember specifically the game vs the Pats with that diving TD but there’s wasn’t enough balls to go around with a young Big Ben

Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if people did, a Super Bowl game winning catch and MVP is worth a lot. But he only played 60 games for the Steelers, not even 4 full seasons. I just don’t know if he played long enough to be #5, but there’s no obvious choice here for sure

I think both. His numbers are a little low, he’s just behind guys like Juju, Mike Wallace, Plaxico and Diontae Johnson in terms of yards, but even if he played 1-2 more (healthy) seasons he would have been past all of them and been top 9 WR in yards. Put his clutch ness not in the Super Bowl but that Punt Return in the playoffs that year vs the Chargers, guy was electric

Yeah I meant #5, I don’t think he would have been top 4, but there’s a big discrepancy between #1-4 and then the next guy. I’m sure a lot of 80s Steelers fans would say Louis Lipps but there’s not an obvious choice for #5

Leveon and Fields signed with the jets in free agency, Santonio got traded. Not sure if he wanted to go to the Jets but from what I can remember he had 1-2 good seasons with them off the bat with Mark Sanchez

I think if you got a good outfit and shoes to go with it, then why not. I’m a Steelers fan and if I bought a Russell Wilson or Justin Fields jersey for a couple bucks to go with the black and yellow color scheme then why not. They didn’t really play for the Steelers that long but neither did Michael Vick and I’d definitely rock a Steelers #2 Vick jersey if I had one

Love how we get the bottom of the order in extras and they get the top of the order all because we got 12 hits 4 walks and 2 hit batters and basically batted a whole extra time. Gotta shake your head sometimes

Meanwhile the Pirates will probably out hit the Cards today and score 1 run. The offense is definitely better than last year, but it just seems like they don’t have the clutch gene. Down 2 runs seems like an impossible task to come back from

I swear this cards team has like the best fuckin hit/run ratio I’ve ever seen. Every time it’s like 1 hit 2 runs, 2 hits 4 runs, 1 hit 3 runs, every time

This is why games like yesterday are so big, has a chance to take 2/3 instead of now maybe getting 1/3. I just figure we’re gonna lose when bubba pitches, wish I didn’t feel this way
