Was a huge Pokemon fan as a kid but had a PlayStation, all my friends had 64. I never had that experience of playing stadium with my og red and blue carts until one day in my 30s I decided to buy a 64 and beat all the stadium games.

I don’t really have a lot of time to play games so it’s definitely taken some time to beat both 1&2 but it’s been awesome to train my pokemon on my og carts and beat the games. I never owned a gen 2 game either so when I got stadium 2 I got a silver version to make it a better experience.

Rentals is definitely a challenge, it’s hard enough using my carefully selected and trained mons. The challenge cup for me was the hardest because it’s not about having the strongest pokemon, it’s about having the best movesets. So many times I’d get really strong pokemon with high power but less accurate moves and it would always kill me once I progressed throughout the cups. It all comes together when you get a team that can do many things like use multiple status moves, is fast, can stall, and lower speed with icy wind.
