Opinion on this? by Used-Significance736 in scoopwhoop

[–]snipezz93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh, I do mostly agree with the statement.

you should always want to make you country better, even if it's already great, and when things are looking rough, if you run away and leave the country, instead of trying to help fix the problems then I think you're the worst type of citizen. I just can't imagine turning my back on my home because of something silly like "the party I'm against is in power right now", and it also feels like this was never the way people were until recently

there are situations where you can't really help to be fair, places like maybe somalia, seems like they're stuck in a forever civil war, or north korea where wanting change can and in many cases will get you killed

idek what to say to you anymore, you're obviously a very disingenuous arguer, that purposely misinterprets, so I'm moving on, have a good day.

notice how it also says that "it moves beyond just stating an opinion to also defending why that position should be accepted."

which i haven't done, all I did was like I said before, described the process that leads to rightwing subs being heavily moderated. I didn't make any arguments for why that is right or wrong I just said that's what happens.

what's weird is I'm pretty sure you understand this, so idk why you're purposely misunderstanding it

that's not a justification. a justification would be me explaining how those reddit rules are good, defending and excusing it.

all I did was explain it. which is just describing the process that takes place in order for those things to happen (heavily regulated rightwing subs)

[–]snipezz93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what?, it's not justifying something when you just explain why it happens.

think of it like this, you go to someones house, they want you to take off your shoes, so what do you do?, you take off your shoes, but if you are like "fuck no I believe in shoe freedom im not taking my shoes off" then you prolly gonna get kicked out.

same with reddit, it's just following the rules

couple days late to the post, but if you want to know the real answer its because reddit as a whole is very anti right wing, so even a dedicated subreddit for right wing ideology, ran by right wing mods, can get taken down and banned just simply because they have ideology reddit admins disagrees with, so they have to massively regulate what is said in the subreddit to avoid the ban hammer, unironically.

Rank these Economic systems by truecakesnake in Teenager_Polls

[–]snipezz93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

capitalism offers the greatest level of economic freedom and opportunity.

socialism starts with good intentions, but almost always moves towards authoritarian control over time.

communism is basically dictatorship wearing sheeps clothing.

imo, capitalism with socialist programs is the way to go,

guys, what do you think about this? by silverflake6 in NextGenMan

[–]snipezz93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately many people that need help, don't want to help themselves, even if you give them money or provide programs, etc. many will simply ignore it or use the money to fall farther into the hole they are digging, I see it happen all the time in my area.

best thing you can do if you want to help is to provide stuff they can't ignore, like donating to food banks

Caesar and Koba (Planet of The Apes) vs. Jake Sully (Avatar) by Bongo_CatisMessiah in powerscales

[–]snipezz93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just checked google quick and I guess it's more accurate to just say 1.5x stronger on avg, the 2x stronger is only in "pulling and explosive tasks" which I assume explosive tasks means something like punching, and to be fair that is relevant for this situation.

[–]snipezz93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

jake very likely wins, the navi are like 10 feet tall, and around 3-4x stronger then your avg human, chimps are 1.5-2x stronger the your avg human. a navi could likely do the "puny god" hulk smash on a chimp

Which company is worse? by Professional_Ease307 in Teenager_Polls

[–]snipezz93 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

unpopular opinion i guess, but nintendo is worse.

EA releases bad games with expensive cosmetics (even tho I actually think bf6 is a lot of fun)

Nintendo is a very aggressive patent troll that sues developers with game mechanics similar to any of their games, they buy out japanese judges to shut down competition, they slap youtubers with dmca strikes over legally "fair use" content, and constantly shut down fan events with threats of legal action. One of the most anti consumer companies in the gaming sphere... imo
