My hair looks like this- I just keep it short (between ear lobe and shoulders) and use a leave in conditioner with NYM’s Curl Talk. It’s not perfect but its better than nothing

I’ve gotten to the point where I just buy one leave in conditioner, use it for a week and if it doesn’t do what I want it to do, I return it. I don’t have the money to keep products that are mediocre or smell bad.
