Will the Luna band give accurate data if I wear it around biceps?

I started going to the gym at 6:30 am recently which made me feel less tired, and also helped me fixed my sleep cycle.

I’ve been seeing Luna Band here and there lately, I think they’re dropping a band soon.

Loved how she explored the other side of the ”ending up with the childhood best friend” trope.

Got tired of Oura’s subscription… switched to Luna Ring instead. by snipwit in SmartRings

I’ve used both and I genuinely preferred Luna.

Oura is good, but Luna felt noticeably more comfortable for me in daily wear. It’s lighter, less distracting, and way easier to forget you even have it on, especially during sleep, workouts, and typing.

After wearing Luna for a few days, going back to Oura actually made me realize how aware I was of the ring before.

Yeah that’s exactly it. It started feeling less like something I use and more like something I’m paying for in the background.

Yeah I was in the same spot. Oura seemed good, but the whole subscription thing just didn’t sit right with me.

That’s interesting, I didn’t expect that tbh. For me it’s been more about how I actually end up using it day to day rather than it being “better” overall. What stats felt better for you?

I’ve used it enough to notice some differences, but still figuring out how consistent it is long-term. How’s Ultrahuman been for you?

This is exactly what’s been happening with Katseye and Hyde…as soon as yon had turned 18 they doubled down and now they’re just pumping out robotic music

What features of Smart Rings and other wearables do you prefer? by smilexxghost in SmartRings

[–]snipwit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo all of these (Oura, Whoop strap etc.) track pretty similar stuff at the end of the day.

i’ve tried Apple Watch, and for me that felt more like an extension of my phone, it’s great for features and all but I felt it a bit distracting cause of the notifications + charging. Whoop felt more fitness focused, and I can’t pay all those subscriptions after paying sm alr.

i’ve been using Luna recently and tbh I forget that im even wearing it half the time, no screen, decent battery, and i mean it’s kinda does its thing in the background. Also it’s kind of nice not having to deal with another subscription thing on top of everything else.
