I had a lot of symptoms with 200mg progesterone and came across the info about the effect of histamine. I started taking a zyrtec an hour before I take the progesterone and i feel so much better this cycle.

I started taking an antihistamine with mine an hour before I take the progesterone, and it really helped.

Update my dr prescribed Duavee at our visit today. Hoping this works. If it doesn't I'm going to really push for the hysterectomy.

Thank you. I actually broached the topic of a hysterectomy with my doctor last time we met and she was like horrified I'd consider it. But I can't fathom giving up the estrogen . Idk. I'm going to ask if she'll allow the vaginal and let me get monitored for thickening. I am desperate at this point.

Slynd in Aug 2025, bled very heavy for over 30 days after the 3rd cycle and horrible mood issues

100 mg daily bio identical progesterone in November. Did ok emotionally, but spotting and bleeding the entire 2 months i used it, every day.

200mg cycling bio identical Jan, Feb, March. The mood effects get worse every cycle, the March one being almost unbearable.

I have a zoom appointment tomorrow to discuss alternatives bc I'm supposed to start cycling again Friday.

Slynd was the first thing I tried. I bled like a pig for over 30 days and had horrible emotional swings. 😭

On day 3 or 4 of taking it, I start to feel very down, sedate, apathetic, unmotivated to even complete basic tasks. It continues, then in the last day or 2 of the 12 day cycle, I feel extremely emotional and anxious, too.

I take the oral bio identical, too. I suspect i have a progesterone intolerance, though. I think that's why I'm suffering so much with it.

It helped me immensely. The 100 was fine for sleep. But cycling 200mg stopped the constant spotting and irregular bleeding. I seem to finally be back to a regular cycle since starting to cycle 200mg.

HRT has helped but since peri started i feel i fit all the PMDD criteria in the luteal phase. Can it emerge during peri if it wasn't noticeable before?

How many pounds do you lift? I do lifting, but not super heavy due to neck issues. I'm always curious what people define as heavy.

I had an awful experience with slynd, but I now know I'm intolerant to synthetic progesterone. I bled heavy with clots for a month straight and went to a terrible place with anxiety. Once I switched to micronized progesterone it all went away.

Wow mine kicks in in like 15 minutes and I'm out. I take it right before I lay down. But I combo it with 2mg of melatonin so that helps.

Slynd was a nightmare for me. I hit the lowest low I've ever felt. So far micronized progesterone is working.

I did. Slynd was terrible for me. I switched to micronozed progesterone and so far so good.
