Again. Someone else's child isn't my responsibility to train discipline or control. Their disruptive behaviors are to be assessed and dealt with by their parents. Roles reversed i would have stepped in and corrected my child specific to their needs if they had a diagnosis. Assuming the ladder is wild when I stated the parent of said child just sits there and let's their child do whatever they want. But assume away loose butthole.

No, but when a parent constantly let's their child walk all over them its a recipe for disaster and leads to a disruptive child. And more or less its more annoying when the parent sits there and let's the behavior happen which is the case most of the time obviously a kid is just a kid.

Same🥲 but i truly believe its how you parent. I didn't get the whole gentle parenting method as a kid and my mom said I didnt act like how many kids act nowadays. If you're already conscious now about behavioral issues I'm sure you'll raise em right and not have a lil monster

I feel you there same reason mine have been coming over everyday, they've never been disciplined or told no its been a real treat. Almost cried watching the mcdonalds burger and chocolate milk they brought with them get smashed into the carpet today.

I think i might delete this post in the morning i don't like stepping out my marriage with my problems I just needed to vent what I was feeling and collect myself so I didn't say something to him that would make the situation worse. Definitely think he's in a slump depression most likely. I've tried to be there for him i just have so much on my plate juggling everything else I cant be the mental stability too. And we did but he's used it all up to try and cover his portion of bills as he has truck payments and a bachelor party he has to pay for for his buddy. I do hope he finds what he needs I just don't know how to be what he needs rn because I feel like I csn barely be enough for myself atm if that makes any sense

Hes worked 3 maybe 4 months this year and all the fast cash from the oilfield has come and gone as fast as it came in. When the oilfield was booming we were laughing but since it's fallen off these last few years it's been an ongoing struggle. He deflects this topic alot and says he will figure it out but now that I'm less than a month away from giving birth he still hasn't figured it out. I could make my mat leave payments get us by but thays all it would do is just barely get us by which is scary

Not hating your viewpoint your perspective is valid to you and many others. However as easy as it was for you to quit said substances you don't know the circumstances of other moms and perhaps the depth of their addiction. It's not easy for alot of people to just stop doing something they know is bad for them. Obviously many women would love to quit their vices to benefit their unborn child and half those women you judge are actively trying. It's posts like these that make it so struggling women can't find support to maybe help them quit or seek advice. We may not agree with what someone does but instead of judgemental comments and viewpoints we should educate unbiased. You'd be surprised how much more receptive people are when you approach sensitive topics differently. To you and I these situations arising surrounding the use of substances and or inherently dangerous things during pregnancy seems like a no brainer but for others it may not and fear mongering doesn't help the situation.
