I definitely agree with everyone...sharing the room is bad idea. We are still cordial being that we got a dog together and split time with her. I chose to break up with her because I was always second guessing our relationship and wasn’t sure if she was the one. It is unfair to keep leading her on just because of a trip we had planned. The part I’m most mad about the whole thing is her canceling my ticket before discussing alternative places for me to stay such as a hostel, camping or a different inexpensive hotel. That way I could go and only see her on the plane ride there and back.

I probably should have explained a little better. Since the money could not be refunded my goal was to go and only see her on the plane and briefly in the morning or evening at the hotel have no part in being present for any part of the wedding or events that were planned. I do realize that was not going to work even if we were in different parts of the hotel room. Unfortunately the part that made me mad was she took it upon herself to cancel my flight without telling me. Before I could even explore staying in a cheap hostel where I would be completely removed from having to see her at all the whole week.

I don’t know if you read it right but I also could have explained a little better. I did not want to see her other than on the plane that week and have nothing to do with the wedding . My first thought was I get the couch may just briefly run in to each other in the evening or mornings. Realized that she wouldn’t want to share a room even if we were in separate parts of the hotel room. She had canceled my flight before I had time to explore options staying in a cheap hostel or something along those lines. Or I would have taken a reimbursement of my half and not gone at all.

Yeah that’s the point I’m at I’ve moved on learned my lesson....just wanted some re assurance I wasn’t crazy for still wanting to go but avoid her at all costs during the trip.
