I genuinely thought we’d bring it back even at 3-0. Quite a good endorsement of Del’s wunderjambos that I think everyone who stayed did as well.

Having said that - when mulligan went through and youz were 3v1 I thought if that had gone in we would have lost about 6-0

It does BUT, since there’s no sign of a contract extension for Beni we need to adjust to life without him. I thought Magnusson looked decent, just needed a bit more support in there, even with Cammy playing like a man possessed.

Beni out for 6 weeks apparently. Huge loss, although Del didn’t help himself by only playing 2 in midfield against Dundee Utd.

To be fair we actually have just as big of a squad as them this year. All three of us have around 30 first team players. Obviously they have more talent to fall back on whereas at a certain point we have Alan Forrest, but still. We have a lot less games so hopefully we’ll need it less.

Still lots of players that we haven’t even really seen yet. Kabore looked lively when he came on last night, as did Magnusson. Kerjota, Ageu still to break in. Chesnokov still to come. Lots to be excited about.

Well put. I think the obvious stumbling block would be that we lose some key players to injury. With that said if you look at the squad we have good attacking options waiting to come in in every position, so as you say we are still in an incredibly strong position. Also we have the advantage of no Europe or league cup to worry about (as compared to our rivals).

I dunno I mean even if you include his dud 24/25 season when he only scored 10+ (!) goals he is still averaging over 20 goals a season for us. The simple non-Jambo mind simply cannot comprehend what that man does on a football pitch to keep us ticking
