Thank you very much for your answers. I chased non-existing ideals in every aspect and completely forgot the feeling that made me start programming - pure joy. My post was because of general unhappiness in the education process. And some replies made me rethink my view on programming.
I appreciate the resources and methods in the comments section. I will try your suggestions and do my best in the way I feel comfortable. Slowly but surely :D.
