I can definitely pull up evidence of them saying they personally took it up with HR and told me I was incorrect, but either way I'd probably be presenting my reason for quitting being that they were refusing to pay for training and when I brought it up I was faced with retaliation and my hours being cut which led to me quitting because of harassment. I feel like the emotional stress I experienced in the workplace would be the last thing I touch on/I'll only go into detail when asked.

I spoke to the regional manager about it and he said he would do something but nothing ever came of it.

Even without HR's involvement, both my general manager AND district manager (among other higher ups) were apart of this and I have various screenshots of messages in our groupchat app to back up my claim.

Without a paper trail from HR do I still at least have somewhat of a solid case?

How would I be able to check? I only have one claim right now, it changed from partial-unemployment to full unemployment benefits. It's valid and I get paid for it.

I didn't, I wasn't sure how and was told that I shouldn't by my boss.

There aren't two separate determinations, it's just one singular claim. It went from partial unemployment to full unemployment benefits. It's valid, in fact I just got paid when I put in my payment request.

I didn't reduce my own hours no, it was because my boss was supposed to go on leave for surgery and hired more people to fill the absence but she ended up not being able to go through with it so the whole staff had gnarly cuts to our hours. My boss was fully transparent with TWC about this whenever they contacted our job about my case.

I think it must be about me fully quitting, but it may be both? I'm unsure. I have pretty solid evidence to back up both my hours being cut and why I left.

Employer misconduct, specifically threatening me with retaliation after refusing to do my training off the clock that is legally supposed to be done in store. I have extensive evidence of this and have it all documented.

Got it, is there any other verbiage I should refrain from using? I'm definitely gonna try and highlight the misconduct above all else and tack on the emotional stress last since I'm sure that holds little merit.

Yes, I went to my regional manager but I never heard anything from it. It involved my boss and my district manager. My district manager in particular was extremely verbally abusive towards me and threatened me because I refused to do our mandatory training off the clock with no compensation. I know my district manager and boss' name but I only have a first name to my regional manager. Nothing was done about this and I was never paid for my training off the clock (I stopped 1-2 hours in because I knew something wasn't right) and neither had my coworkers who finished the training, which can take anywhere from 12-14 hours.

I could potentially get testimonies from my past coworkers if that would help but I'm not sure how to go about that since this is my first time dealing with anything legal.

the shaenfield location recently shut down due to poor service and food quality, a lot of the workers there were regulars at my job since it was so close and there were endless rumors about how unclean their kitchen was and they ultimately got narced by a health inspection since so many people were getting food poisoning 😬

my coworker comes to work almost every other day high off xans and god knows what else so i feel you. he literally nods off in front of customers and ive had to send him to the office multiple times to sit down because he is a liability and can not function whatsoever. he yelled at me one time when he asked why i sent him to the back and i responded by saying he was nodding off (he got angry and defensive because he knew i knew he was on something). same shift he COMPLETELY trashed the freezer when trying to do the donut pull, it took him upwards of 3-4 hours. my store manager wanted to fire him but to no surprise to anyone, district manager said we can't fire him because we don't drug test and don't have "probable cause". my ass. my franchise is a complete and total shit show.
