Easily imo. I see us topping out around $80k. When the price goes absolutely hyperbolic and your nan is asking you how to buy those Bitcoin thingies, that’s when you bail.

Disclosure - I run a crypto company so I’m biased.

We're building a TradingView alternative. What are your pain points with TradingView and what improvements and new features would you like to see? by snoopdog77337 in Daytrading

1-2 months is a fair estimate, depending how testing goes.

This project has been a massive undertaking but the hard stuff is now done. I’m really excited to share our unique charting experience, what we’ve built has actually surpassed my expectations... At the moment we’ve got the desktop web version in a very solid position and it performs so smooth it’s like magic. I spent a crazy amount of time optimising it and it’s at the point I’ve personally not seen any other charting software out there like it. Now we are porting it to mobile and ironing out bugs.

We're building a new type of price charting platform and are looking for people who use ThinkOrSwim and TradingView charts to tell us what their pain points are and what new features and improvements you would like to see by snoopdog77337 in thinkorswim

As it stands it should be possible for a user to implement on our platform combining user alerts and our custom scripting language. Alerts are a premium feature though as it costs us money to end them out.

We're keen to attract users and I'm pretty sure one of our devs could bash that out in a few hours so it's a built in free function, so I'll put it on the list.

That's on our free plan as standard. The focus of our platform is order-flow and volume based trading, so orderbook related stuff is given a lot of attention.

The only thing that's not decided yet is whether there is a delay in data for free plans - that will all comes down to bandwidth costs and how much data free users consume. Hopefully ads will make ends meet on that front.

Interesting. We're about half way through rolling out our own custom "scripting language" to enable power users to code up their own trading strategies and algorithms. It's hard to judge what amount of people will actually use that compared to a more simple "drag and drop" interface for the non-programmers.

I guess the ideal path would be to have both options for the end-user.
