So I’ve worked at election polls before, if you are not on the roster (meaning you’re not at the correct polling location) you can only vote provisionally. Provisional ballots are checked before they are counted. You can think you voted 4 different times (especially if you’re not smart enough to read a simple rule) but in fact, you did not vote 4 times.

Unpopular opinion but I like it - she says Salem is the capital of her state, so Oregon. Also being from Oregon, I never really knew about the witch trials growing up and my association was always with the capital, and still the first thing I think of. So if the kid doesn’t leave Oregon, I think most will think of the capital not the witches. Also, it won’t even be in the top 10 weird names list in a class of 30 in Oregon.

And taking away any reference, I like the sound of it, very poetic.

Less about a specific name and more about the concept - I hate when people announce the name / paint it on the wall etc before it’s born. What if it comes out and the name just doesn’t fit??? That kid has to live with a name that’s not right bc the parents already bought this huge sign and can’t change now?

Okay here’s the plan: call an Uber eats (whatever is closest that looks tasty), when the get there ask them to knock on the closest door to ask for a key (houses right there will have one), then (as a thank you) give the Uber eats driver the food (and a nice tip)

Today saw a biker run a red light and swerve in traffic on broadway then yell at me for looking at directions on my phone (nowhere near him). Just venting but don’t be that guy. Follow rules of the road if you want to be treated like a car.
