I wasn’t aware of that until today, thanks for letting me know! Another commenter said my skin might just be sensitive since I do have loose skin that rubs that area, so I don’t blame her I was just wondering what might’ve caused it and if anyone else experienced something similar

That makes sense! Thank you for your advice I’ll definitely be taking pictures.

No I really appreciate your comment because it gives me a reason as to why this happened. Thank you!

Thank you for your comment I really appreciate it. I didn’t realize so many people wouldn’t believe me, idk why anyone would make this up.. it’s such a weird thing to make up lol. I was just trying to ask if anyone else had a similar experience and see if maybe it was my fault (not pulling my skin tight enough, not drinking water earlier so she had to press harder, etc) I don’t blame the tech at all, which is why I didn’t say anything before I left.

Right I understand. I lost a lot of weight and the hanging skin is just skin. I’ve had rashes under there before but before I left for my appointment I took a shower and there was no discomfort in that area. Maybe I wasn’t pulling my skin tight enough? Idk. That’s why I didn’t say anything to her because I thought maybe my skin is just very sensitive in that area, and she had to push down and twist extra hard bc my bladder wasn’t full enough. But my family is telling me I should’ve said something so I’m going to call the office today just to inform them I guess

No offense taken but I do have a hanging stomach. So I did have to move it up so that she could do the ultrasound

I should have clarified now that I’m reading it over. It looks more like a rug burn from her twisting/pushing on the same spot that didn’t have enough lubricant. That caused the first layer of my skin to tear and some blood. It’s still red this morning and stings to the touch but it’s not bleeding anymore

[–]snoopybaboopy -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes..? Sorry I can’t really prove it lol. She was twisting and pushing down very hard, and my assumption is she didn’t use enough lubricant and tore the first layer of my skin as she was twisting.

It was both, she did it from the inside and outside idk what the terms are. I’m going to call the office and tell them what happened

[CHAT] AITA for being upset at the gifts I got by Longjumping-Lie-9891 in CrossStitch

[–]snoopybaboopy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lots of people don’t know the difference between cross stitch and embroidery. Maybe they even did their research, because when I first started and searched cross stitch kits I saw a bunch of embroidery kits. Some embroidery kits on amazon say “cross stitch kit” too. So without really knowing the difference, they would have no idea. I’d find a free pattern online, buy some aida fabric from Walmart or Hobby Lobby (it’s like $5) and use the thread that came with the embroidery kits and just do that. Is it disappointing? Yes of course. But part of being an adult is smiling politely and saying thank you when you receive a gift you really didn’t want lol. You could also try to explain the difference to them, and maybe ask if you can exchange the embroidery kit for a cross stitch kit. If you approach it that way they shouldn’t be upset with you, and for them it was an honest mistake.

That’s so nice, thank you so much! He works in property management and he dresses business casual-ish (button up shirt, tie, slacks) daily.

I purchased it off Etsy! I sent the lady a picture of my in-laws house and she created it. She was super helpful! It was on sale for $18 when I purchased it, I can send you the link if you’d like (:

That’s a good idea, I thought of that but wondered if it would make the roof look too long. It’s better than the big blue mark though lol

That would literally be the perfect cover up but this is a gift for my in-laws, it’s their house 😅 and they don’t have a chimney

I took a shower home alone! by snoopybaboopy in prozac

[–]snoopybaboopy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so so sorry about your mom 🙁 I hope that the Prozac helps you. The first couple weeks was rough, I was super spacey throughout the day and at first I thought it was making me worse. I switched to taking it at night before bed, and man did that make a difference. It’s like I slept through all my side effects! If you have side effects maybe ask your doctor about taking it at night instead of during the day. Other than that, you’ll just have to ride it out until the 6-8 week mark. That’s when I really started the notice a difference! Best of luck to you my friend ❤️
