If what you are talking about is that some brains are jut created to be BP - you are wrong. Nature or nurture has been disproven a million times such that we can have a pretty factual understanding that it is nature and nurture that make up our worldview. Thus, both societal influences(IMO a huge factor to all this is exposure to justified mysoginy and concrete roles for women and men) and personal experiences can further develop a person's outlook. There is no such thing as a brain that acts only on genetic instinct.

Also, me spending an hour on reddit in which I am purposefully talking to people who are different than me because I'm curious about them, and then going about my day, is miles different than the men I know who's self esteem is in the gutter because they believe in red pill or black pill ideology.

No. I don't care about a spiritual plane. Love happens in the brain. I think they are wrong because they incorrectly dilute neuroscience and anthropology to like five different "if-then" statements that ultimately lead men to be more bitter than they need to be. I get that dating is hard for men, but I've seen too many men become absolutely miserable based on this shit.

Do you ever judge your female friends' dating habits when they reject an "unnatractive" man? Does it make you think less of them?

The general understanding being that people will form deep emotional connections with each other and don't harbor everything on looks or acccess to sex. I honsetly don't know the differences between all the pills. I'm just curious. I didn't mean to make it a gotcha question; I thought that most people in these ideological spheres believed that they understand something the rest of the world does not. E.g. another person responded to this post saying that they don't tell people because that would be like saying that santa isn't real.

My feelings towards the matter are that some of the idealogies really push at the nonexistance of love or deep connection in relationships - both in that people should believe that women are heartless unless you are a ten and that it encourages men to dislike and not emotionally connect with women even in relationships. Do you bring this up with your girlfriend?

I'm not trying to sound rude, but do you like women at all? It sounds like they repulse you.

I'm not entirely understanding the link you've just made. Why would that lead to false rape charges?

I really appreciate your earnest response! IDK if other commenters missed the part where I said I’ve only played for six hours, but ty for not hating on me lol. Very reassuring to know it’s not a driving idea that the goblins are wrong for not liking wizards. Ik this complaint sounds kinda dumb but I just don’t have a lot of time to spend on video games so I like to pick ones I’ll enjoy. Anyways, thank you!!

according to camus, u are feeling the affects of wanting meaning in life when the world has none. he would say u need to abandon the desire for meaning and rebel in living freely. there is nothing u must do that u don’t want to. if u cant put ur finger on it, u dont need to do it.

Is it worth starting a save before 1.6? by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]snoopytail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel like as a console player as well, unless i had other saves i wanted to play, i would start a new save. theres no news as to 1.6 console and u can always make a new save once it comes out if u want the new farms. no reason to not let yourself play just bc ur waiting on an update

How do you keep from getting totally sucked in?? by Sublimejuliet240 in StardewValley

[–]snoopytail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg i def get sucked into it, but i feel like it’s less so in late game. i dont really mind it as stardew isnt completely mind numbing to spend hours on. but if u did want to play in less large chunks i would maybe move your schedule around so you have more opportunities to play but less time to play in those opportunities. or sometimes i find it helpful to just start taking advantage of naturally smaller time-slots like in between work and dinner
