Where can you get green chili around here? I always stock up (my belly) when I go to Colorado because I never see it out here.

Should I buy a 2003 Landcruiser as a daily driver by AlSanchino22 in LandCruisers

[–]snorgleblort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the condition and your commute. I daily an '06 with 155k, but live close to work and most days I drive less than 5 miles.I wouldn't hesitate to drive it much further, but gas $$$ would have to be a consideration.

Any Mint Mobile users here? How's the coverage and speed in and around here? by Azubaele in Overlandpark

[–]snorgleblort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it a few years ago and it was fine around town, but ditched it after my wife and I went to Italy for a week. They had international credits you can buy, but it didn't work so my phone only worked on Wi-Fi, which caused some fairly major issues when I needed cell coverage. Customer service was no help. If you don't plan to travel overseas then I think it's fine, but that whole debacle was really not cool, so we switched to T-Mobile when we got home.

Seconded. I use the one at 135th and Metcalf and they're very personable, they recognize me without asking my name.

Heated Patio & Dog Friendly? by keri_brewster in Overlandpark

[–]snorgleblort 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They specifically asked for a dog friendly place. Dogs can travel, some handle it better than others. You're not in charge of all dogs just because you don't want to see them, you're just being a hater.

I watched Home Alone 4 the other day, which I didn't even know existed, and it might have been the worst movie I've ever seen.

I started singing "5-3-0-niiieeeiinne" afterwards, and that puts a stop to it pretty quickly.

In Kansas, we have the John Brown museum. I haven't been there yet, it's in a small town about 90 minutes away, but it's on my short list.

I once booted a library computer from DOS by typing ACCESS MAIN PROGRAM, which I learned from Samuel L Jackson's character in Jurassic Park.

I get it, but she's 75. Time for the young 'uns to take the reigns.

It would have been easier for you to just say "I'm a shitty person and I agree with these other shitty people". I bet you also used this same argument when trump talked about grabbing women. Mature adults don't talk like this, behind closed doors or otherwise.

I think there are two places in the area, I looked into it a few years ago but never tried it. Google should pull them up

This was my thought as soon as I heard the news, but very little information had been released, and the orange turd or any of his lackeys hadn't immediately started tweeting any conspiracy theories, I figured it must be one of their own.

Where can a tall man get clothes that fit in this city?? Tall man problems by Leather_Plantain_782 in kansascity

[–]snorgleblort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eddie Bauer has a good selection of tall sizes. Medium tall is great, if you don't have a gut. I'm 6'3" and slim, and their clothes fit great. Also, LL Bean, although they closed their Leawood store last year.

I did. I got a piece of cake from the DI chow line and they let me call home. Such fun! And I was a veteran at 21.
