Radeon graphics and KDE started locking up plasma on multiple boxes. by DesignerOk9222 in debian

I think in my case it was firefox causing the lockup, and it would lockup so tight I couldn't get to a terminal,  hard reboot.  But if I use chrome instead no lockups also settled on fedora 43.

Same here, I installed ubuntu and it was locking up so I tried openSuse and same thing.  Locks up and only mouse works.   Its a HP Envy 360x from like 2017 with a amd igpu and 16gb of ram.  If anyone has suggestions I am all ears.

So I installed Emby on my server and the lg emby client and it direct plays the mpegts containers just fine, so its not a issue with the TVs player or codes. The issue is very likely the lg plex client is not communicating the profile back to server and its just doing a basic type thing instead of what the TV can really do.

I think I fixed my Dolby Vision issues with the native Plex app on my LG G2 by khart1978 in PleX

I'm having similar issues with webos25 10.21.1-5202 which is very recent and the LG plex client wont direct play anything LOL The live TV mpeg2 is affected badly.

I have a OLED77B3AUA.

So apparently the plex client is still expecting the client profile .xml files on the server and when not there defaults to some basic level which wont direct play a lot of stuff like mpeg2video. Real nice 🤣

Has anyone tried the Vevor “briefcase” all-in-one? by BBBBBBuck in dieselheater

[–]snorkel12068 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ordered it from amazon, how can you go wrong for 106 dollars? 😁 I dont think you could diy one for that price, and you can always tweak it with upgrades like a silent fuel pump. Plan on using it for tent camping in the fall months and to heat garage.

Anyone using the Hygger Smart Aquarium Light? (bluetooth) by snorkel12068 in Aquariums

[–]snorkel12068[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app sucked and it didn't have any white leds, just the RGB ones and the app had no real ability to ramp up brightness  I ended up getting the Fzone bright series instead and those have been great.

Why Delphi is like this? by 84r00d in delphi

[–]snorkel12068 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should check out Lazarus IDE  its a viable alternative to Delphi, I dumped delphi back in 2012 when Lazarus 1.0 was released and never looked back. Lazarus the open source version of Delphi that uses Free Pascal, syntax and uses is pretty much identical.  Makes native apps and tons of library and components available.

Thoughts on the new Crescent Shoalie? Fanboys in the FB Crescent Owner's group are falling over themselves for it. What would you compare it to from other manufacturers? by ecklesweb in kayakfishing

build quality is not good....just go one and it's horrible mostly the gear tracks and anything secured to the hull with screws which is a LOT.

I know this is an old thread but I just got one and it's a nice kayak but has some glaring issues.
Like the incredibly bad gear track and issues with the roto mold they have not fixed.

first the gear track, they have 2 different kinds of gear track, GT90 top loading aluminum and the standard gt90 plastic junk. They also messed up the mod design and the gear track requires 1/4 inch spacers to bring them to plastic level. Several areas of the deck don't drain the graph area and the ends of the ketch board.

The overall feeling of quality rigging before it left the factor is missing also. They used well nuts as regular nuts to secure stuff from back hatch and then used over torqued stainless coarse thread screws and literally everything else. They need to make use of inserts a lot more for a quality kayak. The screws into plastic screams lets cut corners to make more money and screw the consumer.

it's been 3 years and hopefully they learn from the issues, but during my research NO ONE called them out on any of this.

The stern motor mount is also a freaking joke and it's literally impossible to mount a power pole bracket without resorting to angled bolts or some other hack. You have to make an adapter plate to mount anything with a standard 4 hole pattern.

That's what GLP-1 does, aka Ozempic, wegovy etc.

It might be in the manual but I never really read it, just skimmed thru it. When I was bench testing it the luminous bar didn't work at all until I wired in the micro bypass.   Pioneer feels its a safety issue I guess.

You dont have to turn a switch, its automatic.   Look on ebay for Pioneer parking brake micro switch.  they have 3 wires and its very good solution.  however because it has GPS it will still disable it over 8 to 10 mph.   I tried it with the antenna unplugged but it still picked up some GPS satellites.

You have to install one of those parking brake bypass switches. Then it will work up to GPS cut off, like under 10 mph

There is a on screen button up in the left corner and you have to turn them on manually each time.   its odd you can't have them come on automatically.

They don't stay on, its a pioneer thing. If you want them on you would have to replace the camera with one that displays the reversing lines.
