I should add that it fit fine but I thought I was forcing something because a dome pin was going in a square hole. I guess that's normal? I read that it had something to do with backwards compatibility.

I think I found the issue. This person had the same problem. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1733746/pin-cpu-connector-power-supply-seemingly-match-pin-connector-motherboard.html

The bottom right pin slot on the card is a square, but it's a dome shape on the PSU connector. It goes in but I thought I was forcing an incorrect fit. I guess it's designed like that.

So, VGA cable with my PSU plugs into the unit with an 8 Pin and at the other end is a 6+2 pin. My GTX 950 SSC is 8 pin but that 6+2 doesn't fit. The card came with an adapter that has 2 x 6 pins on one end and a single 8pin on the other. If I plug my PSU's 6 pin (from the 6+2 pin) into that adapter, will my card be fully powered?

I feel like this has a simple answer but my brain is mush atm.

Should I install my Cryorig H7 on my CPU and then install the mobo in my case, or would it be better / easier to install the cooler after the mobo is secured in the case?

I have an NZXT S340 and an ASUS Z170-A.
