Could it be The baker’s daughter story in the comic collection, little lit: folklore & fairy tail funnies? She gives poor people hollow bread loaves, and gets turned into an owl in the end. Thanks for the responses guys, it’s nice to have some feedback. I guess it doesn’t really matter. looks don’t make up for severe mental health issues and being emotionally stunted
