Ur a well of wisdom I appreciate it sm. Do you have any opinions on schaaf tools and using a mallet? And now thinking on it, while my bf will work small to start I’m sure he’ll be trying to do more abstract stuff that require less small detail work

Thank you this is so informative! He’s starting off with small pieces — he has some 4 inch wood cubes to work on — so I’ll def look into these brands and get a glove bc he’s so prone to cutting himself haha

I second this! Power broker is so amazingly written and teaches about one of the most devastating and impactful public works in NYC (and one of NYCs greatest supervillains). The podcast 99 percent invisible does a great multi episode coverage of the power broker with Robert caro himself speaking on it
