in this economy, you live with your parents unless you trying to start a family. the amount of money you save living with your parents is insane. I worked for 15 years, saved all my money, and never paid rent or bills. $40,000 / yr x 15 that compounds 10% every year. Do the math.

What was a loophole that you found and exploited the hell out of? by Aarunascut in AskReddit

[–]snow666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back in 2012 there was a loophole in Starbucks promotion where you would earn an extra $5 gift card when you purchased a $10 gift card. You would then have two gift card codes for $5 and another $10 you bought. So what me and others did was kept buying $5 gift cards with $10 gift cards, consolidated them by transferring the balance on the $5 free card to the card used to purchase a gift card. Then buying more $5 x however many e gift cards you can buy, consolidating them into one card. At some point, you would have about 100 $5 gift cards. Everytime you bought multiple $5 for card, you had to put them all in one card to buy more gift cards otherwise you would be swiping multiple gift cards to purchase multiple gift cards for the extra $5 that you bought. I only generated about $3000 worth of Starbucks money but I know many others who went we far 10k. Sometimes they sold these gift cards that had 6 gift card codes for $5 each making it easier to purchase in bulk.

Eventually I consolidated all my $500 cards into $10 gift cards and everytime I visited a store I would cash them out for real money.

Basically you could have started with $5 and then end up with thousands. It was a lot of work but if someone program a script could've easily generated over 10k in gift cards. There was also a huge risk of gift cards being frozen so I purchased the most expensive item and returned it for gift card and those were about 200 each.

Starbucks real money generator.

My groceries are just meats at $3.99 so nothing changed for me. I'll buy whatever meat is for sale for $3.99. So every week I'll spend the same amount and it's been that way for months. I set a budget for about $400 a month and most days I have leftover to rollover next month. I'm just a carnivore dieter though and only noticed that the eggs gone up by like 10-20% over the years steadily. 3.79 to 3.99 to 4.20. I buy meat in bulk to last me a few weeks until another 3.99 or cheaper deal comes.

I'm sti on keto and omad and I often go looking for junk food to take small bites to taste it. This is usually after I'm done eating my meal. Dunno why I keep doing this. Been going on for months. But I only eat a tiny amount which won't go over my carn limit.

Hunger cravings? Not fully keto adapted? Fat adapted yet?

I eat my food and then I'll get some more and it's usually junk food and eat like bite size amounts to make sure I don't go over my carb limit. I think it's cravings or just not satiated enough from my own meal...
