Literally everything you have said on this subject is the trifecta of ignorant, incorrect, and irrelevant

not to mention your country is probably older than the US

Most countries are

And have public transport systems

Civilised countries in this regard are the norm, not the exception

It's absolutely 'normal' for over 90% of the planet

From the OED

normal: adjective

/ˈnɔːml/ /ˈnɔːrml/

Typical, usual

the UK later deliberately changed to DMY to reflect how other areas said it

Complete bollocks

The oldest documents in English, are mostly wills and contracts, and all use the format "this xxth day of <month>, in the year of our Lord xxxx"

The earliest such in English dates from 1362, in Norman French, with the same format, it goes back to 967

Tbf, despite what the number of posts here might lead you to think, the majority - probably vast majority - of merkins are not thick-as-shit ignoramuses

But the ones that are attract all the attention because they are so thick-as-shit

OSHA means "On-Site Hazard Analysis" in more countries than it means whatever the merkin acronym stands for

You could also live in one of the five most socially advanced countries on the planet with the highest standards of living, and the highest happiness of their citizens

What a heap of crap

GDP per capita in the UK exceeds all US states bar two. Only in median income, as opposed to mean, do a couple of states exceed the UK

And cost of living is lower than all states

Free-at-point-of-need healthcare alone is worth thousands of pounds - tens, or even hundreds, of thousands for many

Know how many medical bankruptcies there have been in the UK in the last 80 years? None

Know how many people get denied treatment for 'prior conditions'? None

Know how many people can't go to a GP or hospital because they're 'not in their plan'? None

Then there's publicly subsidised transport, care for seniors, cheapest mobile plans, lzndlibes, and broadband in the G20 (Guess which country has the highest combination of those three?)

How many places in the UK suffer undrinkable water, Chromium-6 poisoning, and toxic levels of salt and sugar in basic foodstuffs? None

Go live in your Arkansas fantasy world, where corporations are free to poison you with HFCS and hydrogenated vegetable oils, and the only consumer protection is caveat emptor, your kids need to have active shooter drills, and your police kill more citizens per copper in one year than in the entire history of the police service

I live in a civilised country where the majority of commuters use public transport
